Lanzarote in one port day.

If your ship calls at Arrecife, you have a few hours to discover an island unlike any other. On a private tour you don’t depend on a full coach: together we choose what to see based on your arrival time and all-aboard time.

Two berths, two different meeting points

Cruise ships dock in Arrecife, but not always at the same berth, and the meeting point changes. At both berths I wait for you just after the Port Police post, holding a sign with your name. At the Marina it’s a few steps away; at Los Mármoles the walk to that point can be considerably longer. Send me your phone number so we can stay in touch on the day. If you don’t know your berth yet, that’s fine: we confirm it before your visit.

Which route fits your port call

The 4-hour routes usually fit a cruise day best: the north with Jameos and Mirador del Río, César Manrique’s island, or the volcanic south of Timanfaya and La Geria. Longer routes depend on your time ashore. I’ll suggest the right option, and we are back at the port at least 30 minutes before the ship’s departure. Bear in mind the tourist centres close at 5 pm.

What I need to prepare your proposal

With these details I’ll reply with a route, timings and a fixed quote.

  • Ship name and date of the call
  • Arrival time and all-aboard time
  • Berth, if you already know it
  • A contact phone number for the day
  • Number of people and language
  • What you’d love to see

If you’d rather stay in Arrecife

The capital has a seafront promenade, the Charco de San Ginés lagoon with its fishing boats and two seaside castles: San Gabriel, and San José, which César Manrique turned into a museum of contemporary art.

We meet after the Port Police post at both berths. The details of your port call are confirmed in writing in your proposal.

What people ask me mostabout your cruise day

Do you pick us up at the ship?

No. I wait for you with a name sign just after the Port Police post, at both the Marina and Los Mármoles. At the Marina it’s a few steps away; at Los Mármoles the walk is longer.

What if the ship arrives late?

We simply start later, unless there is no longer time for the tour: the tourist centres close at 5 pm. If the call is cancelled, the conditions are set out in your proposal.

Will we be back in time for the ship?

We are back at the port at least 30 minutes before the ship’s departure. We choose the route with that margin in mind.

How much does it cost?

Tours with a minibus and driver for your group start from €590. I’ll send you a fixed price based on the route and group. Entrance fees are not included.
