LagOmar: What to see and how to visit it in Lanzarote
LagOmar in Nazaret: the house carved into a volcanic quarry that once belonged to Omar Sharif, with tunnels, caves and pools.
A house carved into an old volcanic quarry, with tunnels, caves and pools, linked to the story of actor Omar Sharif. A place with a fairytale feel.
Built in an old quarry and shaped by César Manrique’s ideas, it is a maze of stairs, tunnels, caves and pools that seems straight out of the Arabian Nights. The actor Omar Sharif bought it in the 1970s and, legend has it, lost it soon after in a card game.
Entrance fees to tourist centres are not included in the tours; opening times and prices depend on each centre.
